Cresent City to Boise, via Or, any suggested routes

My wife and I are riding to Brookings, Or to visit a retired partner and then riding to Boise to visit the grand girls. I know there are several different routes to take across Oregon, but any Swing locals with practical experience riding across the state would help me out.

Bear: Having been on nearly every road in that part of the country, I can only give the routes that I would want to use.

Brookings to Medford to Lakeview...being mindful that you are approaching deset country
Lakeview (395) to Riley and then
Riley(20) to Ontario and then south to Boise

Again be mindful that you will be in lightly populated farming/desert country once you get over the mountains \\\you could cut over to 97 north to Bend and then to 20.. just be prepared. Have a super trip and look out for antelope and hay trucks.
