On my burgman 400 i did a modification on the seat actuator allowing the seat to be openned at almost 90°..
Did anybody tried this on the honda?

Thanks By actuator do you mean something electric that opens the seat? If so do tell!! If you mean just replacing the seat strut, been there done that. The seat strut has to stay the oem length because any longer the seat strut will not completely retract, therefore stopping the seat from closing completely. |

Sorry if my question was unclear.
I am indeed talking about the strut.
On the burgman, we (in a forum) changed the OEM strut to another model with overall dimension that fits the standard OEM area but with more extention.
We managed then to be able to open the seat up to almost 90°.
It was a 5min change and the strut was found easily on the web... |
