Hi Everyone, from Melbourne Australia. Just picked up my 2008 Silver Wing last Saturday. Swing hadnt been riden for 2 years just sitting in a garage. So its down at the mechanics having a service. I have been reading the topic on getting the Swing onto the centre stand, havent been able to yet but will practice the advice once I her back home. Hopefully I can do it, as I only weigh 65kgs.

You'll get it eventually. Practice makes perfect but at least you have the side stand to use till then.

Yes, that should stop Kurt from feeling too lonely down under - indeed if they set off together, they should meet up in about 3 weeks...!!! :lol!:

Aarrr, dont worry about the POMS, they really are OK. The yanks and other Americans seem to be very jovial and a couple are even trying to displace me as the court jester. (I am watching you Hi-Yo)

BTW Trish, Its easiest to put on the Centre stand if you point it up hill, BUT DONT EVER DO THAT.

ALL in chorus: You will never get it of the stand pushing up hill. Evil or Very Mad
