I have been lurking on this forum for awhile, and I don't think I have introduced myself.
I currently ride a 2008 Silverwing I purchased new in May of 2008.
My SW now has 36000 miles on it and I like it better al the time.
I have been riding since I was 14. Ther was a time when you could get a motorcycle license in Texas at 14.
I won't bore anyone with the long list of bikes I have owned.
The only mods to my SW are a clearview windshield, headlight modulator, Bestem top box, and a dc connector for my iphone which I use with my blutooth helmet comunicator. I'm 67 years old and plan to ride my SW to the arctic circle next June.

Late June is the best time for visiting the arctic region: endless 'daylight' and with a bit of luck decent temperatures. Some years ago I've been up in the European arctic, driving from Sweden into Finland. (Topped at 68° North) Very impressive landscapes & wildlife over there. Had every luck in the world with temps up to 30°C (that's 86°F). This year Summer holiday will be camping in Norway. cheers
