Hope to pick up a damaged 07 for $1000.00 and I know the history behind the bike.
Has any one used this type of film on there bike or car.
I am planning on using this film,to cover the hole bike instead of painting.

This dual-layer film incorporates color and clear protective layers, providing a smooth, paint-like finish that’s both durable and dazzling. What’s more, with 33 color options, Wrapping Film offers more choices than ever before to meet your needs. This enhanced film technology ensures excellent conform-ability, and adheres well to deep recesses. Films are available in a 60" width, which allows hoods, roofs and side panels to be applied with one piece of material for faster application and a higher quality result. Incorporating Easy Apply™ RS technology, Supreme Wrapping Film provides repositionability and slide-ability, saving valuable installation time.
These Avery Supreme Wrapping Films are recommended for full wraps and can be applied to your vehicles hood, trunk, roof, mirrors, door handles, glass, motorcycle parts, chrome, metal parts and just about any relatively non-porous surface.

I dont have experience with wrapping. I was thinking about wrapping as well to change the color of my wife's scoot (vs trying to paint it). I searched and watch several different you tube videos then decided i might try it some day.

It much, much less expensive, and looks dummy proof.
Painting is very time consuming and not that easy as I have found painting my front fender and cowling along with my helmet.
I have made up my mind and if the purchase goes through maybe I will be the first.
I like trying different things and products so this is my next steep.

Will you do it yourself or have it done professionally?
I've seen it done at a trade fair and it seemed to take a lot of skill to smoothen it out nicely (air pockets, wrinkles, etc)
