I'm the 2nd owner of this silver wing. The first owner, my father in law tipped it into another bike when parking it. I think he broke a plastic hook or tab on the inside. I'm guessing as I've never removed the plastic. Well the point being the plastic has pulled away and I'd like to fix it. Can anyone here offer any advice? Dom

Hi Dom, Give this a try. Remove the large silver Screw/Bolt in the conner of the picture. Then remove the lower screw along the egde. Open the glove box and lightly pull the top part toward the back of the of the scooter about 1/4" to 3/8". At the same time press in on the side and keep pressing in while you slide the top back in place. Hopefuly the locking taps are still there and working. Once you get it all back, reinstall the screws.

Thanks, I'll give that a try tomorrow. When I pull the body plastic away from the bike. It looks like there might be some broken hooks? As I can see what looks like a bit of raw unfinished plastic.

| If you aren't bothered about looks and the tabs are broken drill 1/8th " holes in the top cover and the side and use small tie-wraps to bring them together. Works on mine.

How would you get the expanding foam inside ? I guess you could drill a hole in the inside of the left glove box to put the foam in.

It is a vary big job to remove the right box, the left one comes out easy but not the right one.

Think you hotwings that's what I meant to type. That's my dyslexic fingers. Looking at the picture it is the left side that is in need of repair.
