What NOT to buy

I looked around for a cell phone mount as i use it for my GPS and to listen to music. I found and purchased a mount from Amazon.

After installing the mount and adding the phone the first defect was very obvious as the ball mount connection was not strong enough to hold the phone in place so it hung limply from the handlebar.

Yesterday as I was driving home and was in my neighborhood the whole mount fell off the ball mount and crashed to the ground. Had it fallen off five minutes earlier I would have lost my cell phone on the freeway.

If you're looking for a cell phone mount - keep looking and don't come close to picking up this inexpensive option to keeping your expensive phone safe.

But it says "Mega Grip". Maybe they left the e off of grip. Thanks for the heads up and I'm glad it didn't cause bigger problems.
