Jeff
The pictures that you post is for the GIVI Wind Screen and
not for the AF214 - Is that Correct.
I know that will help me remove the Honda Silverwing Screen
but confused about the several comments that I have read
about the installing the AF214.

Could you reply please
Thanks

Drew, if you take off the Honda screen and look slowly at the brackets and the places they fit, it really will be obvious how they fit - they can only go in one place each side and only the right way round.
I shared your anxiety before I fitted mine but it was straight-forward in the end.

That's interesting. . . I have the 26g sliders and haven't noticed any difference in economy. I do like the performance though

To return to a previous issue - worry not.

The answer is writ in the instructions that accompany the screen.

The brackets are simply there to provide an accurate template for drilling the two extra holes needed.

Beyond that you can sell them on e-bay?

Clive

I think you are incorrect about the brackets just being a template. If that were so then they would have probably have been made from flimsy plastic or even cardboard.
Check this thread, especially the pictures on page two.
https://www.silverwing600.com/t46-givi-windshield-installation-pictorial

If they were a template then Givi would have called them a 'template'.

Cheers,

If the only purpose was to provide a template, they would be made of paper like the template Givi provide to drill the two holes to mount the back rest on their top boxes. Neutral

Thanks.

I'm sure you're right.

With all that wisdom you must be older than 96 surely!

Then a belated Happy Birthday, and may you have another 96 at least.

Many thanks to you ant to all others who offered up their advice re the AF214.

It's now fitted and in service, and it has redeemed the SW completely. In fact it has transformed it.

The result is one very comfortable riding experience.

Thanks again.
