| Last week I did a 750 mile tune up ride to Lake Superior to get ready for the Big One. Took four days all systems are go. Will be leaving from central MN around the 8th of July for the Pacific Northwest. Plan to stop in Bozeman MT, Portland OR and Ft Lewis WA. Also hope to reach Vancouver Island if time allows. Not sure how long I'll be gone planing on 3 weeks. Weather will be the big player. Nomad |

| Be sure to take warm clothes. I was there in July of 2004 had to wear my Rain sute to keep warm, even though it was a sunny day. I rode from Texas to the Cascades in Wash. |

I've done two Montana-Yellowstone trips one in 07 and one last year. Last year was 2800 miles. The Gallatin Canyon Hy191 south of Bozeman was an icebox at 9am June 15th last summer. Hy 34 west of Pierre Sd June 6th was also quite chilly. Mountains and high plains can go either way. I bring what I think will work and a credit card to fill in the blanks. This year I est. between 4 and 6 thousand miles. If I get tired of the whole thing I'll sell the scoot and get a bus ticket. 04 sw stock. Rear tire, battery, belt, valve adjustments, air cleaner. |
