| Just had my car serviced. - 'So what', I hear you say!!! Well It was also my annual MOT inspection, (Legal maintenance requirement here in good old Blighty!!). So I check the miles I have done since last year, comparing the two certificates. Less than 5k So guess what took the hit on the mileage front?- Yup, the good old Silver Wing. My wife is convinced that if there was a way in which I could get her, (that's no problem), AND the two dogs on the 'Wing' the car would go. (- Too true. ) Just wondering how the UK plod would feel if I had a trailer with the two dogs in??? A nice perspex dome to give them good visibility! A ventilation system so they get plenty of air!!! Got me thinking now!!!!!! I know one guy in California I believe, modified his seat to get a small dog in, two larger hounds make that a non starter! Then of course there is the wife sitting on what is effectively a mobile commode!! Anyone out there tried anything similar? (Not the commode thing either!!). |

| There's a company in Holland that builds dog-specific trailers, Doug. In all respects the trailers conform to UK Regulations.
I'll find a link. |

| My dog, Moose has ridden hundred of thousands of miles with me, top box or tank/middle hump bag-----don't think he would like to suck exhaust fumes in trailer.

| This thread reminded me of a fellow, since passed on, who rode with his two basset hounds. I encountered him once or twice shortly after I began riding, as we are both originally from York, Pennsylvania.

One way or another, I suppose it can be done! |
