1st ride of the season

Finally got a day that was above 40° here in MO and when my little woman got home I had the Silverwing out and she was as ready for a ride as I was so off we went. When we left it was 64° and we rode for 45 mins to arrive home with a temperature of 51°. Saw 12 deer along the way.

Was so ready for a ride. Hopefully this will be a fun filled year for riding. I'm planning a ride to the Superman museum in Metropolis, ILL in like May. Hope all is well with you all.

One of the best things is that we finally got to try out our new Scala Rider G4 headsets that we got for Christmas. They're awesome.

I paid a little less than these are, but I'm really happy with what I've got.

Got in my first ride of the season today. It's been a long time since Nov.13, which was my last of 2010, 20 weeks to the day. That's 140 days. That's a long time to NOT be riding when I think about it.

Anyways, got out on the highway, did about 25 miles, roads were dry and clean. It's a very different story in the city. It'll be another 2 weeks before all is dry and most of the winter grit and sand has disappeared.

It was a great feeling to be back on and in the wind.

It will be my 2nd of the season tomorrow. Springfield to Ha Ha Tonka state park! And if i have enough time, i may slide down to Eureka Springs as well!

I took a nice long ride with my dad to around town and to a local park.
This is our 2nd outing together plus the few days Ive been able to get out when it wasn't freezing.
