| My bike was delivered back to me yesterday afternoon. They've made a damn good job of it too - looks like a new bike (which of course it is!!). Apparently, the cost of repairs was £3800 ($6000), the priciest item of which was a new back wheel - £400 ($640 approx). Feels good to have it back in my garage, where it belongs.
I hope to take it out for a spin today - before it starts raining!!

I guess it seems a long time but the repairers have been quite quick really.
One hears of months of delays in some cases. |
