K&N air filter just bought but ...

hi
am i obliged to drill the air box if i instal the k&n air filter # ha6002 ?
if yes, does someone as a picture showing the number and size of the holes
if no, do i have to do something else ?
for information, i use a leovince 4road exhaust without db killer (what a loud noise !) + k&n oil filter # kn204 + spark plugs denso iuh24 (iridium)

No, you do not have to do any modifications to the air box to install the K&N filter. It fit's right in.

However, if you want to add the holes, what I did was drill 6 1" diameter holes and just spaced them about 1 " apart.

The holes let more air in and seems to give a little more power. At least that's the theory.

One inch (1") = 25.4 mm
