Nolan N100E Helmet

Anyone out there wear the Nolan N100E with the fog guard? This is my second one.

While installing the fog guard the safety spring came out. For the life of me I can`t find where it goes. The instructions are not clear where it is to be placed. Any help would be appreciated.
