| As both the UK, Europe and the USA are in the midst of snow, I thought I'd add to the chill. I can't trace the credit for this picture so I hope they don't mind us using it. I will change the pic to a more conventional one for the rest of January once this wretched weather improves. Let's start looking forward to getting some more miles clocked up as we head towards Spring and Summer. |

| Great photo! On my short trip to Death Valley last weekend it was very cool... No snow but the temps were in the 30-50F degree range with wind. And no I do not have any heated gear...I live in Arizona LOL. Luckily I have enough cold weather gear that it was a good trip and all was well! Not to say I wasn't cold at times!

| I've always ridden in winter, I don't particularly enjoy it especially the cleaning sessions after a ride on salted fronds but it's what I've always done since way back in the last century.
I've got plenty of winter riding gear and because I've never been impressed with them on previous maxi scooters didn't have heated grips fitted when I bought my Forza. Although I do have a pair of heated inner gloves that I can plug into my Keis heated jacket.
For some strange reason I've never felt the need to plug in my heated jacket since I bought it back in my Silver Wing years, or the last six years l've had the Forza. The reason being the Keis jacket is more than warm enough beneath an unlined winter riding jacket and Merino wool base layers.
As for the heated inner gloves, they've yet to be used as apart from winter gloves I've got lobster claw winter mitts and heavy neoprene over mitts for them. Then there's the handlebar muffs/mitts I usually can’t be bothered to fit as I've never believed this ‘handlebar mitts and unlined gloves = toasty warm hands' nonsense.
The Givi handlebar wind deflectors I fitted to the Forza years ago seem to do the job anyway. Winter riding is one thing and freezing your bollocks off on unnecessary riding is another.
Having ridden big heavy twin cylinder maxis like the Silver Wing and Burgman 650 through many British winters, I have to say my lighter single cylinder and traction control equipped Forza 300 is vastly superior in winter and a darn sight easier to clean.
Wrap up well y'all. |

| As most of the snow has gone here is a pic supplied by 'kjrman'. It has some nice touches. I particularly like the fork-mounted running lights and those Corbin seats look comfortable. Chrome mirrors too. |

| Those air deflectors painted white to match the rest of the SWing look very nice as well. I have a set I bought from Tim Cotter, new and in the box, that I never installed. I debate with myself if I’m ever going to install them. |
