Planning to replace the tire valves, with the new tires. The rear has an angled stem. Anyone have a recommendation between 90 degree and some thin less, like 83 degrees?

What is in there now works okay +/-(original) I believe, but cannot measure the angle

I had an ordinary straight valve put in and carry a right-angled adaptor which I screw on only when inflating the tyre.
I also carry an extension which makes attaching the pump much easier.
I've got one in my car, too.

I had a straight valve installed on mine and it works SO much better than the angled one. Honda switched them when my last rear tire was installed.

Honda has in its parts system, a short rubber/straight/high speed stem available that still allows air chuck to fit in. smart parts man would know where find it.

Hi Hop.

Just type "motorcycle tyre valve 45%" into Ebay, it will show you every type of angle under the sun.

You can even get a valve dust cover in the shape of a penis.......... No offence intended.

Hope this helps!

That is what Honda installed on my SWing. I like it much better than the angled one.

This type of angled tyre valve works great on the.Silver Wing on both front and rear tyres and makes inflating or checking tyre pressure so much easier.

There's a few makes, made of alloy so they're quite expensive and sometimes labelled racing valves. In fact looking at the pic I've uploaded the set I had were upturned a few degrees more.

Because I had them fitted to my Silver Wing I was able to identify it from pics when a 2010 black Silver Wing came up for sale in Yorkshire on Auto Trader a couple of years after I traded in for my Forza.

Although it's quicker and easier to check and adjust tyre pressures on my Forza than than the Silver Wing I bought a set of the same valves to be fitted when I changed to Michelin City Grip 2 tyres earlier this year.

Unfortunate the design of the Forza's rear wheel prevented one being fitted to the rear tyre.
