| Life is strange. I had a Corbin with two back rests and it was hard as a rock. I made an even swap for a stock seat and it is just right for me. I would recommend a test ride before buying a Corbin. |

| Back in the '80s i had bikes that came with Corbins and they too were very hard and uncomfortable. Custom seats second hand are hit or miss...perhaps it would be better to upgrade the foam in the stock seat...its 21 yrs old and has 93K miles on it...I bought an Alaska sheepskin buttpad..It barely helps cushioning wise... |

| Just checking- is it a cushioning issue or the seat feels hot and uncomfortable when riding for a while? I covered my OEM seat with a mesh cover that allows air to run under your butt so I can ride pretty far with the OEM seat rather comfortably. |

| You might want to try to find an Airhawk cushion, they come in different sizes. They are an inflatable seat cushion very comfortable. |

| I've been using an ASI seat cover for the last two years very similar to an Airhawk and love it. Air Seat Innovations. Feels a little weird at first but with the proper inflation works fine for long rides. |

Not a heat issue...seat foam is hard as a rock...no cushioning...not too bad around town but wwhen i rode 360 miles it became rather uncomfortable... |

Thanks for the suggestion..I have tried an Airhawk and I did not get the desired results...I wound up not liking it...From previous experience i know the real issue is re-foaming the stock seat. |

| Interesting topic, I always thought the Burgman 650's seat was a lot firmer than the Silver Wings. I've used my Airhawk on both simply because I bought one. Though what usually happens is after a day or so it goes under the seat and stays there until I return home.
I've mentioned on various maxi forums for a long time now that by simply choosing synthetic under wear with no seams anywhere near your butt eliminates hot spot and pressure from stitched seams.
Eliminating them improves riding comfort considerably and is far more cost effective than buying a custom seat or Airhawk.
I've experienced no comfort issues whatsoever with the seat on my Forza, simply because it's compact design means you can’t really ride it feet forward. The seat doesn't have a butt stop, and I've a drawer full of seamless under crackers. |

| I have a a RDL seat for my ST1100- it is comfortable no doubt, but it pushes me up ~ 1-2” in the saddle and when I stop, I have to hop off the the front of the seat to be able to touch the ground. |
