New member from Asheville, NC

Hello everyone! New member here from Asheville, NC close to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway! I just purchased a 2007 Silverwing 600 with 772 miles on it - hard to believe right? Apparently the previous owners did not ride it very much. So far I have removed some of the Tupperware to inspect underneath, and all is looking good! The previous owner stored it in a carport uncovered for most of the past 15 years, so there is some minor corrosion in a few areas. He also had someone repaint it from the original silver to red. A body shop did it and it’s evident that they struggled to remove and replace the plastics- a few broken pieces. It still has the original tires, no wear or rotting, but definitely aged out. About to change oil and filter, drain and replace final stove oil, check air filter. Will eventually drain coolant and replace. There’s a flashing F1 light - gives two short flashes then stops, after 2 seconds another two short flashes, then stops. Not sure how to fix this and can’t find answers on this forum. Any ideas? Would love to meet up with some Silverwing owners for riding on the Parkway. Please let me know if you’re from around here! Looking forward to my first ride on my Silverwing hopefully soon, but first things first! Also trying to figure out how to post some photos!
