That sounds about right with stock rollers. 70mph should be around 5400rpm. 26g sliders took it back to about 5200rpm but the V light started coming on so I went back to stock rollers. Smile

I switched to DR Pulley sliders when I changed my belt. Unlike most I used 28g as I was happen to like the power band for stock. I was not trying to make a Hayabusa out of it LOL. Never noticed a big difference in performance or fuel economy but it did tame a vibration spot between 35-40 mph.

Was it worth the price difference for sliders? For me probably not. When I changed the Forza belt this month I stayed with rollers...  YMMV

My V-light only came on twice at 16-32K miles and I've been using 26-24 Sliders since 6k sounds like an install error. 26 G are the sweet spot 24G for more acceleration.

There was no install error. My Sw ran fine for a long time before V light came on. I recall someone mentioning that over revving can happen when diverting from stock weight.

If a machine is not built with future modification in its' design, then problems are not unusual.
