Just bought a 2009 sw and very much looking forward to maintaining it almost as much as riding it. I get such satisfaction knowing that the machine is sound and safe. Thanks for accepting me and a special thanks to those who take the time to document their fixes and advice.

Hello PistolPete. Welcome to the forum. There’s lots of good info and folks willing to help here on the forum.

Maintenance wise, it’s a huge help if you have a Factory Service Manual (FSM) on hand.

Hey Pistol Pete,
I can't imagine a better vehicle to have in NS than a silverwing - BEAUTIFUL landscape for scootering - when it's not raining or snowing that is - I too have a 2009 SW 'burgandy wine' for 10 years now, so much joy and some difficulties but oh what joy. Welcome to this site and happy riding out there!
