Greetings all. I acquired a 2002 model with 18,500 miles on the clock. So far I am seriously impressed! It's quick, sharp, and a bit scary because it rides well, but a touch unlike any 'norma' bike. I'll get used to it. Problems so far, it's only got one key, there are some interesting noises from the transmission, I think, at very low speed and sometime idle or just when first taking up the slack. I'm struggling to find a workshop manual so far. Hoping to find something here.

Hello and welcome!

Lots of very knowledgeable people here who are willing to offer help.

May one ask which bit of the UK you're in?

Welcome aboard the board shootist! You are on track in thinking you need a Factory Service Manual ... they are worth their weight in gold.  Second, make "Search" one of your best friends on this forum as it leads to a feast of know-how (knowledge and how to).

Welcome from o-HI-o, the manual and 2 spare keys were some of my 1st purchases. If there are no decent maintenance records with the bike a good going over maintenance wise would be a good thing to do. ALL fluids and filters, belt, clean the drive line look for wear points.
