| Hi All, Recently got my SWing out of storage and have had it out for a couple of rides and have had pretty good luck. One problem that I've run in to is that when I first take off for a run around the block, the ABS light will not go out. So I pull back into my driveway for safety's sake and shut it off. Restarting again, I head down the road and the ABS light goes out like it's suppose to and the brakes work fine. Has happened twice now. Physical inspection shows nothing wrong. The only difference is that both times were after using a battery charger to get the battery fully charged again. So, am looking for any ideas as to why. Don't have a lot of time to be messing with the scoot since I'm in the middle of a major renovation of a house we bought. Anyway, any help will be appreciated. |

| ABS will set codes for high and low voltage. Battery charger could trip it if key cycle turned on while still charging. ??? or a charging system issue. There is a reset procedure by jumping a connector and clearing system or reading codes. You need a service manual. Two key cycles without a fault might be resetting the code but it's still stored in ECU.

| Thanks "Mech"... Will be a few rainy days before I get back out there so we'll see what happens this third time (the charm?)… If it's still there I'll get the book out and start checking codes like you suggested... thanks again... |
