| New member here with a new (to me) 2004 Silverwing. I bought it in southern Illinois a couple days ago and rode it 150 miles back home. About 23,000 miles on it. Has ABS and is quite clean and apparently well maintained. It's a compliment to my Yamaha Vino 125 that I have owned for 13 years. Looking forward to catching up on all the threads here and participating once i know what i am talking about. |

| Hello Hank. Welcome to the forum.
23,000 miles? It’s not even broken in yet.
Best wishes on your new adventure.

| Welcome. It's all about 2 wheels here. SW is a bit faster and heavier than Vino as you have already discovered. SW is a great bike. Many s miles yet to come . Enjoy new ride.

| Welcome Hank to the BEST SWing site on the net. The SWing is a very dependable scoot and will take you anywhere you want to ride with the exception of mud trails and dirt tracks. Well, maybe dirt tracks but I've never tried that.
Lots of info here on how to do most of the work on your SWing. I've learned a lot just by being a member here. My only problem is that I forget often so I have to re-look up what I want to do.... I'm blaming it on age. Ya, that's it. AGE! |
