Hi all,
From UK, Essex SS0 9
81 almost passed UK text late 1955, I was just 16
I bought the 2014 ABS because I have trouble getting my leg over the seat of my Bandit
Well pleased with it
It have a cosmetic problem, the last owner hit something with the right hand side front, grazed the fork only cometic, but broke off a large chunk of the front
I could do with another front, damage not a problem, I can fix most stuff, but RH front must be complete
Anything out there near me or postable?
I have made a few mods to the wiring, added a spare battery powered via a 40Amp diode, picked up a live feed from a spare fuse holder in the fuse board, run this out of site to power some sockets mounted in RH parcel box
Added cheapo Chinese DIY heated grips [£5.00UKP]
Switch on indicators to make them hazards
Buzzer to indicators to alert me, to many bikes here leave them on for miles, hardly surprising they get cars pull out in front
Aldi car heated seat heater plugged into the spare battery[ battery under seat] Wink

Welcome! thumbs up to the best Silver Wing site on the Web. I envy your 2014 SW. Sounds like you're adding some needed comfort items to your bike. I did much the same on a previous SW but this time haven't done much to mine current one yet other than adding a Givi top box and throttle holder.

We're lucky in this part of Oregon because we can pretty well ride all year 'round except for some of the higher mountain roads.
