| Greeting to all, my names Alex, but everybody calls me Daddy. Just brought me an FJS600 Silver Wing 2006 with 36000 miles on the clock for 1K UK. I brought it to replace my FJ1200. I suffer from arthritis in my shoulders and hands. I’ve joined the site to see what mods people do to their Scooters, And hopefully find some friends for rides out and touring come summer 2020. |

| Hello Alex. Welcome to the forum.
Most people do to their SWings? That’d be a better windscreen (Givi AF214), a top case, and light(er) weight Dr Pulley or TechPulley variator weights (26 or 24 gm).

| Hi Alex, Welcome from Nova Scotia !
The instructor I had for my "course" has a 2006 ... and loves it as you will love yours and the rest of us, ours. A great machine. I have only changed the windshield to a standard GIVI, and replaced the battery, and changed worn out tires. Have thought about a back off brake light but will likely wait until someone hits me, then make a move on installing one.
Ride safely!

| Welcome Alex to the best SWing site on the net. I'm sure you will love your SWing as much as the rest of us. It's a great machine that won't let you down. |

Mike Why wait for an accident before installing your rear flasher? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. |

| I think Mike was being sarcastically funny. I tell everybody that I drive /ride so fast I'm by the accident before it happens. |
