New rider doesn't matter we were all new at one time. If you enjoy it it will be a lifetime thing.

Lived in the Springs for 2 years way back. Nice out there. Wasn't a rider then but I want to go back and ride some big hills.

Nah, the black 2013 Swing had a jump and blink drive making it the fastest of the Swings. LOL!!!

I'm jealous. I've never had a brand new cycle other than a bicycle. But my black '08 looks much like yours so I feel a wee bit mollified. I would liked to have ABS brakes on my current SW. I really liked them on a Goldwing, two K100LTs and BMW C650GT scooter I had. ABS can sure take a lot of the worry out of riding on gravel, especially down hill on gravel roads.

Here's hoping you will have many enjoyable miles with few problems and no accidents!

Well they still have new Swings in crates at Sun Ent in Denver. 2012 and 2011

Unfortunately I don't have the necessary funds in my wallet. I think I can keep my 2008SW running until I have to hang up my helmet for the last time.

He's right Paul, they have brand new 2012 SW's for $5154 plus tax. No other fees. Considering the MSRP was $9270 back in 2012...WOW

Welcome to the BEST SWing forum on the net Melbel. Lots of great info here.

I should send Sun Ent in Denver an email letting them know that I'd gladly take one of their new SWings off their hands for free but write an evaluation twice a year on what I've done to it and how it stood up and if there are any problems with it. I mean, how GREAT would advertising like that be?

Good luck with that one. They do exist a new SW for sale, well no miles anyway. I paid $5300 almost 5 years ago thought it was a good deal and still is. 2013 model. 21k miles now.

Get them while the last!!!!
