My name is Crispien and I am a college library director located in Chicago, Illinois. I ride a 2010 Silver Wing as both a commuter and for the occasional tour. Typically my scoot tours revolve around visiting obscure small town libraries, especially the original Carnegie libraries located in the Midwest.

Welcome. Not much of a book reader anymore but still enjoy a book over computer.

I visited my Mom last weekend and she found some old books, I had one that was a library book from JR. High 1978 never returned it. How much do I owe ? I'll take it back next time I'm in that area.

I'm more of a teaching Librarian than a book Librarian. I teach information literacy and research methods. I have great love for the "book" librarians though, hence my road trips. Most of those I visit are in Illinois and Wisconsin as getting out of the city can sometimes be half a day's ride. And the prairie makes for such good scootering. Thanks for the welcome.
