| Hi, I’m Gary. Just bought a 2009 Silverwing with 8,000 miles on it. Just ordered tires cause the tires were 11 years old and going to have drive belt replaced. Have had it for 3 weeks and so far so good. Sold a BMW C650GT scooter so I could get the Silverwing. BMW ridiculous maintenance cost, spent $175 for an oil change. Silverwing I can do myself. |

| Welcome! As you obviously know Swings are great values, with a quality build and pretty easy to service/work on. My wife hated her Can-Am because of the crazy expensive service cost and excess heat and now has a Swing. You have chosen well! |

Just curious, but what is so difficult with a BMW C650 oil change to make it cost so much? We've heard horror stories of BMW scooter belt changes costing $2000 as well. What's up with BMW's service costs?
