| On the lookout for my first SW. I really enjoy reading posts in dedicated forums - it helps me to gain a sense of what ownership will be like. So far, I really like what I'm reading!
I'm hoping to get my hands on one before summer, and for 2 reasons. I currently own a Yamaha Smax, a trade up from a Yamaha BWS (or Zuma for some) I owned previously.
I live close to work, and it's nice to a have twist and go set up with city commuting in mind. So, the bigger SW will be fully highway operable, something the Smax is capable of, but not something I really want to do.
And secondly, the opportunity to ride two up. I've done so on a previously owned ride, the BMW F800 GS (which I loved), but only for short distances. I think the SW will provide more than adequate opportunities for riding with the wife. There are plenty of great rides just out of Vancouver, BC.
When I finally get my hands on one, I'll post the details.
Thank you for the adding me to the forum!

| Welcome from Sunny and Warm Minnesota. Well, Welcome at least. This is a great site for info on how to work on your SWing and keep it running. I have an 08 SWing that I like a lot. It's great on the highway and around town. |

| Hello from Santa Barbara California and welcome. You may want to look at upgrading to a GIVI 214 windshield. BUT. be aware that the adjustable top part may fly off and hit you in the face shield. I have had 4 different windshields over the years and this one was my favorite. You can read more about all the different options here on this most useful forum. |
