Rear suspension Empty
PostSubject: Rear suspension    Rear suspension I_icon_minitimeMon Jan 14, 2019 4:59 pm

Afternoon,

On my SW rear suspension, springs and covered with oil like if the seals are broken, I dont think there are seals on the rear forks. I had SW with Mechanic and pushed down the rear and let go, he said it's ok and dont worry about it. where would oily grit coming from? Any ideas?

Regards Sean

First clean the rear shocks with "Gunk" or other real grease cutting cleaner---diesel works. Ride then see where leaks/oil are coming from----What is age of bike/miles? Probably new rear shocks are in order----OEM expensive, but work.
