Hi all.

Was lurking here for a while. I finally took the plunge and picked up a 2004 with about 30,000 miles on it (US imported by previous owner).

I've been riding scoots since 2008 with a 50cc with all the performance mods you could possbily do to it.
last year, I've gotten my MC license, and started to ride a 150CC for my daily commute..
Then the SW was too good of a deal to pass.......

I'm a year-round rider......... not exactly by choice. I work at a very shady part of the city. I took both my 50cc and 150cc there because they aren't worth very much. if it ever gets stolen, no big deal. Parking is also much easier as I can slip into between cars.

When I bought the SW, I did the same. This time, its too big of a bike to 1) steal, 2) pick up and run off (like the 50 or 150)

Rain or shine, I've rode to work as usual.

Welcome from the other end of the country ekoo.
You must have studs in your tires to be riding in Vancouver this winter. Usually spring there by now -- isn't it ?

Welcome from the Land of Lincoln, (Naperville) Illinois USA! You might want to put a cable and padlock under the seat. It may not be that much more deterrent, but it will LOOK like more! You can run the cable between wheels if there's nothing close to cable it to. Smile

Welcome aboard and let us know the root cause of your electrical problem. Do you have a GOOD service, not owners manual to refer to?
