| I do have one modification on my scooter that I love and that is a throttle lock. Didn't know what a difference it would make until I tried. Freeway travel or long rodes, just set and relax, no more cramped fingers. It is not a cruise control, only locks the throttle. Easy to turn on and and easy to turn off. Either disengages with the brake or lever.
Cost is $199.00 and takes about 15 minutes to install.
Just clik on the link.

| Hey Bob,
I have seen those and a couple of people in our riding group have one too. I went the cheaper way with a throttle lock for about $20.00. It does ok but I may one day get the one you have. I wanted to make sure I would like some kind of throttle lock before I spent too much money, but it does work nice, and like you said.. is very nice to just set the throttle and ride. _________________ Ride safe, JeffR 2007 Silver Wing (30,000 miles) 2005 Majesty 400 (sold 12,500 miles) 2004 Reflex (sold 3,500 miles) Givi Windshield, top case, vista cruise, power commander, dr pulley sliders, air hawk seat pad, (J. | I went with the cheapo from the Honda dealer (18.00)and it is plastic and rubber.I've been thinking of a way to fabricate my own from aluminum stock.I had a nice chrome one of the same style on my old bike but I let it go when I sold it a couple of years ago.BAD move since it did not loosen or slip like the cheapo does. duanne |
