| Motorcycle luggage trailers are very expensive to only use a couple of times a year, so what about a cycle trailer at about 1/10th of the price. I realise that some adjustments/additions would have to be made, so any ideas on this from the silverwing brains. |

| Um...Let's see High speed capable tires; high speed capable bearings; some form of suspension so that the trailer doesn't disintegrate on less-than-pristine roads. Tim |

| Add to Tim's list: heavier frame to handle the higher speeds. When you get done with all those modifications you'll have--- a motorcycle trailer.
Can you rent or borrow? Depending on whether you need the gear during your trip or only at your destination, I've heard of people shipping extra gear rather than carrying it. |

| Harbor Freight has a model called the Tag Along. List price is $425. They often have a 20% off coupon and they occasionally put these on sale as well. They are great motorcycle trailers. |

| That looks nice, even though it's just a car roof top luggage box on a trailer frame. Also the bloke that wants a trailer lives in the UK and not the US. |

| First I never towed one but those that have seemed to like them, Uni Go I believe they are called, single wheel units. Point taken on the use trailers get most unused the majority of the time. One of the difficult things to learn seemed to be what to pack that you REALLY need to have with you all the time. |
