Any difference between a 2003 and a 2013?

Guys is there any difference, aside from abs, between the older models and the newer ones? Thanks Dan

2008 and later have an O2 sensor (& related circuitry) which gives better fuel economy. The brake rotors and probably the pads as well are bigger on the later models. Otherwise all the same.

The dashboard glove box lids are raised and in black on my 2006 model compared to earlier ones. They have flat lids and in body colour.

How about abs, does it really help? I never had it...Mine is an 03 and just condsidering if it's worthwhile to update.,..

ABS is an utter waste of time ... till you need it.
Get it if you can.

ABS has saved my bacon a few times. Won't consider a bike without it. Ever.

ABS. I wouldn't have bought my Goldwing without ABS.

Since they aren't importing the SWing any longer to the US and 2013 was last year, I would say spring for a 2013 if you can! Probably can get a sweet deal plus all the extras mentioned above... Go for it, if you can afford it.

other differences mentioned (O2 sensor, ABS, dash is slick like body work pre 2008, color of bike varies but starting in 2010 or 2011 only Black - the glove box retainers are different on the earlier style dash and hard to come by if i understand correctly).
