Hello SW riders,
I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello.
I have a 2006 SW and it is my main mode of transport. I have been following the messages on this forum for a few years now and thought it time to join. This is an excellent forum that have very experienced SW users and your advice has helped me over the years.
I live close to WGC in the beautiful shire of Hertfordshire, England, and I am no spring chicken in the age department.
Just a little about my SW, on the whole it has served me well and has been pretty reliable up to now, touch wood, but then again it has had a relatively easy life. and has only just got 20K miles from new.
If we have anyone living in hertfordshire it would be nice to know as I only rarely see any other SWs being ridden in London, and I can't believe I am the only owner of this fabulous machine in Hertfordshire.
Best for now
Dr Hockey

Hello and welcome!

Thompson's in St Albans was once a gathering place for maxiscooter riders and many met on Saturday mornings for breakfast at the Ace Café.

If you like Rideouts, check the X9 Owners Club, Maximuppets and ModernVespa.

There's an X9OC one on July 2nd, starting in Chippenham. Some of the far-flung members are staying the nights before and after in a hotel in Calne.

Welcome to the site Dr Hockey. So, would you be more of a Summer chicken, or more like me, an Autumn chicken? LOL

I have an 08 SWing and am on my third season with it and love it. In the summer it's my preference for getting around.
