PostSubject: Rabbit Hash, KY   Mon Sep 14, 2009 4:37 pm

People have talked about Rabbit Hash, Ky as a destination ride in the area. So I had the time and rode down there today. About 120 miles round trip for me. So I was in OH, IN and KY today. Very tiny little town with just a few buildings. There is a general store that seems to be open most of the time. I guess on the week end tons of bikes come but of course on a Monday I was the only bike!! It is located right on the Ohio River so there are some nice views and picnic tables where you can relax and eat something.
On the way home I decided to stop at the Creation Museum and it was really great. Big modern building, great restaurant and really beautiful grounds with a pond, man-made streams and waterfalls and beautiful plants. I have wanted to see that for some time and so glad that I had time to stop today.

I keep writing Rabbit Hask, rather than Rabbit Hash, sorry Rabbit Hash Of course there are not many people there to be offended...LOL. It was a tiny little place but with some charm. My group has talking about riding there. Not sure I would want to be with the crowds on the week ends but it is worth the trip once...

Oh good I was able to go back and fix it!!!!

I was just curious about a town named Rabbit Hash so I googled it and checked it out. You're right just a few building and a general store. Anyways I found a video on youtube and here is how it looks during the weekend. Thanks for sharing your ride story.
