Outriders sought by new member

G'day Wingers,
My wife is a Silverwing rider whilst I ride big brother, a Goldwing 1800. We enjoy the road together. My hassle at the moment is that the bride is experiencing some difficulty mounting and dismounting and I envisage the best solution is to fit her SW with outriders but am having a bit of trouble finding same. Is anyone able to assist us please?

Are "Outriders" Australian for training wheels?

I've never seen them in 12 years on Silverwing forums.

Their are trike kits, but if its just mounting/dismounting I recommend looking for thick soled shoes or boots to boost her height.

Thanks for the input. It's not a height problem but a terminal illness which she is fighting and is determined that the bastard will not stop her riding. She has already downsized from an 1100cc metric cruiser but her strength is slowly waning. I note that Voyager manufacture outriders but no dealers in Australia. Does anyone have any experience with them?

The Voyager conversion kit has been around for a long time,but they have a tendency to keep bouncing after hitting pot holes. My conversion is made by Trigg Trikes , it does mot keep bouncing after hitting a pot hole . I have let Voyager trike owners try my Trigg conversion and was told that my kit handles much better and much less wheel lift then there Voyager conversion. I have owned my kit for 3 yrs and 75 k kl ,there is not one day that I ride that someone stop and compliment my Swing trike.Look at my photo album to see what they look like.

What I specially like about my trike kit is that it arrived completely assembled in the crate , but for installing the belly plate,that take 2 1/2 ,3 hrs to fit to the Swing.It took me 6 or more hrs on account of 2 knee replacement and in need of 2 shoulder replacement. ( the golden yrs)
. The trike is removed for every oil,and tire change,2 ceiling hooks screwed to the shop ceiling and 2 ratchet straps hooked on to the swing hand rails,lifting the rear wheel 2" off the ground to remove for servicing. the side stand is tuck under the belly plate and can no longer in usable and the centre stand and belly pan is completely removed to fit the trike belly plate.Once the kit is in line ,you can remove the trike kit and re install without having to re aline the belly plate. I still get 60 mpg average at 100 klph. Not having to put my feet down at a stop sign  to keep balancing does it for me.
