Horn location

Please help! Can't find the location of the stock horn to pull the wires off for a Steibel mounting. My swing is a 2002, and I'm afraid to pop off too much Tupperware because the clips are brittle. Personal aside- back in the early '70's I dated a girl who had a Cocker Spaniel named Tupperware, aka "Tuppy". Brings back not-so-fond memories!

Any how, any guidance on how to get to the horn or wires would help and be highly appreciated!

I'm afraid if you want to replace the horn you have no choice but to remove the front cover and front air duct cover.

+1 on that!  Best that you get a Honda Service Manual ($35 on ebay) to help identify where things are located under the plastic and what wires go where. I mounted my Harbor Freight Horn under my left floor board - it was very difficust to get it in there.  Plus a relay is needed.  Plus you have to wire it in.  Don't put it where I put it AND you may want to put it outside the 'plastic' somewhere - don't ask me where - to make this job somewhat easier.  In the end I was real dissappointed in my horn SOUND - it was not really all that loud - better than OEM by far - but it would not scare a two year old on my street - and neither do I!  Guess I need to go to 'biker school'.

In answer to my own question, the horn is located near the bottom LEFT of the radiator and comes off with a 12 mm socket!

Eager to hear if there's enough space for the Stebel down there; I have a brand new Stebel Nautilus sitting in my storage unit.

Removed windshield, front cowel, front fairing, radiator duct. As with everything like this, taking it apart was easy. Found out that most of the "tabs" were broken, so the most time was spent putting it all back together and having it hold together. Second most time was spent on finding the old horn! It sounded like it was right behind the instrument cluster, imagine my surprise when I found it was under my left foot! Mounting was easy, even though the bracket I ordered from Twisted Throttle is now keeping company with my hundreds of lost sox! Used the bolt that secures the brake hoses to the lower triple tree! Made a bracket from half a 'L' bracket (corner bracket?). Wiring was easy with the "p'n'p kit.

I hope I have this hosting thing figured out correctly. If not, no telling what photo could show up!
