To quote the Immortal George Formby, I'm going to the TT Races! Just finishing the packing and the off in the morning to catch the ferry. Nothing like doing it the traditional way. I might even see a Shuttleworth Special.

Lucky you! I spent some of my college years in the 70's attending and took my brother in laws (3) from Canada to the 2007 100th year anniversary TT. We rented bikes in London and toured England before and after the races. Our next planned trip to the TT is 2017. This time we plan to rent bikes in Manchester and stay in the north, perhaps Scotland too.

Have a great time!

I have just tried to buy tickets for the main grandstand in Douglas, but they are sold out, so as second best I have got a ticket for Friday, the Senior TT, Creg ny Baa.

Went in '08.  Best motorsport event I've attended!  (Including F1's at Monaco, Montreal, Monza, Silverstone, Long Beach and Barcelona)
Going to Le Mans this year.  I hope it's as good as the TT.
