Riding in some of the worst wind/cross wind conditions recently-----noticed any body figuring on putting Training Wheels/Trike Kit/Sidecar....all things bike was not designed for!!

Should figure out way to reduce overall gearing by 20%......then uphill/into wind strong crosswinds=no struggle/ease of running. Engine appears to me to need to turn 6,000 rpm for comfortable ride, little engine strain.

20% drop used to be ruff rule for sidecar use....and worked.

That's easy to fix. Either a J. Costa variator or 21 gr Dr. Pulley sliders.

Hi John. At 6000 my SW mellows nicely ( only 1500 miles on speedo). This surprises me as oldthink says that is a lot of rpm to go forward. But at 6000 rpm / 77 mph the mirrors clear out nicely and I mean clear.

This tells me a SW could run at 75 / 77 mph all day. I do intend to find out. Cheers
