Should have gone with the E21 panniers!

I bet that hurt.

Yikes! No wonder I give posts a wiiiiiide berth. I sure don't want to snag a pannier on anything.

Likewise, I'm used to the wide behind on the 'Coast. It also had those big ears that always seem to be getting knocked off, the lack of which is one thing that attracted me to the S'Wing.

Friend of mine did that on his big Yamaha - on his way down the M20 to Dover with his super-sized touring panniers, tried filtering through the stationary traffic - took them both off and spent a happy hour collecting underwear from the three lanes. Lucky it was freshly laundered Smile

I followed my brother on his BMW with my Goldwing splitting lanes in heavy LA traffic two years ago. Very interesting passing between cars with a wide bike, zig zagging a bit to miss mirrors. It sure would have been easier on the SW.
