How about Maud? There's a town near by named Bow Legs. When I lived in OK (Idabel) I heard a humorous saying that went like this "You have to go through 'Bow Legs' to get to 'Maud'!" rolling laughter rolling laughter

One of the towns at this link is, of course, the world-famous Intercourse, Pennsylvania. They were going to run an interstate highway throught the middle of downtown a few years back, but they would've had to remane the town Coitus Interrruptus.

IIRC, there's a town around there called Paradise - seems you had to go through Intercourse to get to Paradise! Smile

On my way to Lake Placid, New York, I passed an exit to a town called "Paradox". I was low on gas and tempted to go there, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find my way out and end up in the Twilight Zone.
