PostSubject: removing rear plastic panel   Fri Jan 20, 2012 2:14 pm

Perhaps someone can shed a little light on the removal of the left rear plastic. I had no trouble takeing the right side off but after removing the same screws on the left side it seems to be stuck. Perhaps since there is a seat lock and a battery in that side there may be other screws or tabs. Please advise before I break something. Thanks

Dennis,

After looking at your pics I was just wondering...How did you keep it so clean. I hardly ever wash mine.

There is one additional screw securing the left panel. That screw faces up on the lower lip of the panel. It's about midway across the width of the panel.

Run your fingers along the lower edge of the panel & you'll feel it.

Jeff,

The darn thing was all most new when I took the pictures. I bet the scooter does not look like that now! I have not owned that bike in all most a year.

Cosmic_Jumper

If you look over my instructions one more time you will see I got that bottom screw written in with a picture when I did the pictorial back in 2009.
