| Did everyone run off? Or is this just a slow time of year for this forum? |

| Larry,
It does tend to slow down a bit during the winter but not too bad. It seems when people don't get to ride as much in the winter they also don't post as much. But it keeps going pretty good though during the winter. _________________ Ride Safe,

| My take----as SilverWing is nearing end of long production run.....which is about to happen, interest drops off.....and the people buying them are buying used....and maybe didn't want to or couldn't purchase new in heyday.....and the interest wains.
Same happened with Kawasaki Concours---good bike but replaced by more updated replacement. People who couldn't or wouldn't afford new became defensive.
When SilverWing/Burgman/TMAX, etc were first on US market----lots of interest, guys developing new approaches to fix, etc.
Then of course face of US riders changing (scooter) getting older, more trailer bikers, people who don't ride everyday, etc. Stuff becomes dull. Gee I went to Scooter Rally last year in ARK.....stayed not long.....but many were on training wheels! In the Helix times, actually fun as most rode in and the trailer bikers fell all over themselves----just trying to get out of motel parking lot.
I wonder what will be SilverWing or Burgman 400/650 replacement on US market?
Scooters are not really part of US transporatation system as they are in parts of Europe, Japan or real commercial vehicles as in S Korea.
30 degrees F in Chattanooga----and they shut the place down----have to go find oil filter for Burgman and of course will ride.

We have had some good weather to ride in that is for sure. Looks like we are going to have to wait now for a few days until this next front works its way out.

| Well we expect 6 to 12 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. I am already tired of shoveling snow.

| Dood! Typical media hysteria over a snowstorm that hasn't materialized yet. We'll see what we REALLY get at the end of it. cough*BS*cough. |
