Greetings from your neighbor to the South. I have been a Silver Wing owner for just 2 months (a used 2008, 11,000 miles, in cherry condition), and haven't had the chance to ride it but a couple of times. It does not have a trunk, and I wondered if you had a suggestion for an aftermarket trunk, with appropriate mounting, that may be available either on line or in the Dallas area.

Hey Victor, If you go to the search function and put in top case you will find a thread (about half way down under accessories and modifications) with 20 replies. There are a number of links listed by various people. This should give you a better idea of what others have done. The search function is your friend if you can figure out what it wants. I hope this helps you find what you want.

I have a trunk mounted on my bike. I don't like the looks of a trunk on a Silverwing, no matter what trunk it is, but I enjoy the use of my trunk on my Goldwing..... so I put one on my SWing.

I bought mine used off of Craigslist for $40 and it works great.

In case I missed it before.... Welcome to the site... It's a great place to get the knowledge you need for the Silver Wing. I just wanted to say that "Hi Yo's" comments on using the search function are spot-on. There is a bunch of info on top boxes that should give you a good idea on where to go and what to get. Welcome to the site. It really depends on how much you want to spend really. The expensive Givi's go for a few hundred dollars, but they are very good quality, and the cheaper ones, which I have on mine, are only about $60. Mine is a Bestem and it isn't the quality of Givi but I have had it for almost 5 years now and it is still in pretty good shape.

Search ebay for some of the cheaper ones but make sure it comes with the rack that is needed.
