Have you guys seen this video? There's a lot of scooters to be seen, all smaller though, with good reason. The chaos is unbelievable... I don't think I could handle it! The city looks beautiful, though.

Now that is knowing how to ride in a group! Note the complete lack of anything resembling lane markings, or directionals! And we get fussy and self righteous if someone gets anywhere near us! Im pretty sure if i hopped on a scooter there, i would probably die. A videographer friend of mine goes to Asia 6 or 7 times a year and he says its like that everywhere, scooter /traffic wise that is.

I'm kind of embarrassed because I decided at the end of last week that I was going to quit riding the scooter until at least after Christmas. Every day last week the drivers seemed to be getting more and more aggressive. By the end of the week I was seeing some crazy stuff. Although I didn't feel directly threatened by anything I saw, I distinctly got the overwhelming impression that things had become too dangerous to keep mixing it up with the four-wheelers. I decided to wimp out until after Christmas, hoping that things will settle down after that.

Then I stumble across this video. I REALLY feel like a nancy-boy now!
