PostSubject: Givi taller screen.   Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:02 pm

Hi all,

Bought a Givi taller screen off Marco last week and i have fitted it today, very straight forward to fit.

What a difference it makes, ride all the time with my visor up.

Fantastic product. Smile

Hi JamieB. Many different views on screens, most go for the Givi.I fitted the higher Givi and found it too too high for me so i cut it down by 2inches, suits me. The Airflow Givi is a very popular choice and, given the option again, i think i might have gone for that one. If your happy thats all that matters. Smile

Done a 180 mile trip today on motorways mostly.

You can ride with your visor up all the time, but sometimes the rain does not clear as quickly as i hoped.

I think there is a spray on liquid that will help this.

Do you look through the screen?. That is my reason for cutting it down, in my opinion it's not safe, I prefer to look over the screen.I wear a flip up helmet in winter and an open face when weather permits. I prefer A roads only use Motorways when no alternative. It was very misty in my area today, good job i had a good ride yesterday. Someone on here has suggested Pledge furniture polish to put on the screen.

Hi,

Yes i look through the screen, the ability to ride with your visor up is fantastic.

I will try the pledge polish trick.

Never tried the 'Pledge' trick on my screen but it works a treat on visors!
