| Today is Armistice Day, the official end of World War I. It was changed to Veterans Day in the United States by president Truman. Take a few moments and remember why we fought "The war to end all wars" and pray that we never have to again. |

| As a veteran, I say "thank you." As a private citizen, I say "THANKS, Y'ALL!!!" Just wish we could downsize the need for this industry. |

| Two minutes were respectfully taken to remember and reflect on days gone by and the many faces who are not with us to share the sun wind and rain. |

| Was wearing my Patriot Guard vest with the patches and my ship's baseball hat at a Vets Day parade this morning and had a Girl Scout come up and thank me for my service and give me a card wishing same signed by all the girls in her troop.
Thanked her profusely. Got a lump in my throat and had to hurry away before she saw an old fart with tears running down his cheeks. Was not a combat vet, but served in the cold war...first time someone recognized my service.
May this be a blessed day for all veterans everywhere and thanks to all for their service in protecting this country and its freedoms.
Bob out... |

| Who says "there ain't no free lunch." I enjoyed one today at Golden Corral. Every year they have a free appreciation dinner for all veterans. The only problem is all those young boys who marched off to serve have turned into a bunch of old men . It's nice to see a large corporation show their appreciation. |
