Couldn't help but notice what appears to be a door closure for the right hand side on the home page picture, ha ha. It caught my eye because I had to replace the latch on mine recently.

I think you'll find longer-lasting and more technical methods of repair here as a rule.

Howdy John. As MikeO said, there is a lot of new technology discussed on here. Zip-ties replacing baling wire and duct tape over electrician's tape just to name a couple. Seriously, there are a lot of pictorials and help in the maintenance section (thank's for the one on changing the rear tire). Also by using the search function, you will find a plethora (you like that Gary) of discussions on many things. Jump in and tell us what and where you ride. Oh, did I say welcome?

Welcome John... If your bike is pre 08 it will have a different latch from the 08s and later. May have changed for the 07s, but I believe it was the 08 model that had the new style dash with the new style latch for the right and left glove boxes. The picture on the forum page is the earlier style. But the left box does look different (kinda favors black electrical tape ).
