| Would like to install Auxiliary Power Source Outlet Plug-in 12V Accessorie (cigarette Lighter plug) to charge laptop, use inverter, etc. Has anyone done this and what would be the best place to put it and how to do it-where to connect the wires and so on? I have a 2006 Silverwing. Siderax |

| There is a place for one in the LH cubby - European Wings have one fitted as standard. I think one for a Goldwing fits with little or no modification.

| Wow what a quick response, I'll be back in Nova Scotia in a week and will try to put it on my SWing. Was in Newfoundland for a month (flew down no bike) on a visit. By the way it is bike haven here, nothing to see 20-40 bikes go by at a time. Siderax |

Siderax Yes - I use an AC inverter attached to the cig. lighter plug that also has a USB charger on it so I can keep my phone/GPS powered on longer trips. I use one that has a fan in it so I can hear it when I shut dowh the bike. Forgetting to unplug it can draw down the battery if you forget it over night... I have used it to run the laptop briefly, but I find that it is usually easy enough to find a coffee shop willing to let me plug in. KB |

| That's an important point - the socket when fitted as standard is live even when the ignition is off. |
